Head of the River regatta

Twenty-four crews race the autumn head on the Mill Reach. Bring a flask and cheer from the towpath.

About the event

The autumn Head of the River is a time trial: crews start at twenty-second intervals and race 2,000 metres against the clock from Harwell Weir to the college boathouse.

The women's first eight, who set a course record in the spring, start first. Results are posted on the boathouse board and on the college website within the hour.
