The National Student Review places Aldermere seventh of 132 institutions for teaching, and first for the time students spend with academic staff.
The Review, which surveys final-year students every spring, asked 41,000 undergraduates about the quality of teaching, feedback and support they received. Aldermere students reported an average of nine hours a week in seminars and tutorials with faculty - the highest figure in the survey.
"Small-group teaching is expensive and slow, and we will not give it up," said the Provost, Professor Miriam Adeyemi. "This is a result that belongs to our tutors."
