New scholarships cover full tuition for families earning under $85,000

From the 2027 entry, every undergraduate from a family earning less than $85,000 a year will pay no tuition at Aldermere.

The Aldermere Promise, funded by a $140 million gift from alumni, replaces the college's previous means-tested bursaries. Eligible students do not need to apply separately: the award is made automatically with the offer of a place.

What the Promise covers

  • Full tuition for families earning under $85,000
  • Partial tuition on a sliding scale up to $150,000
  • A $2,000 grant each year for books, travel and equipment

Around one in three current undergraduates would qualify. Details and a cost calculator are on the Tuition and aid page.
