More than 6,400 visitors came to the July open days - a third of them the first in their family to consider university.
Student ambassadors led 280 tours over two days, and every department ran sample seminars. The most popular session, for the second year running, was Professor Hughes's forty-minute introduction to medieval handwriting.
The next open day is on Saturday 3 October. Places are free but must be booked.
