Four hundred alumni, a brass band and one very long formal dinner marked twenty-five years since the Class of 2001 left Aldermere.
The weekend began with a procession across the Great Lawn and ended, well after midnight, with the class song in the Buttery. In between there were lectures, a cricket match against the current students (the students won) and the unveiling of a bench in memory of classmates no longer with us.
The Class of 2001 has raised $2.1 million towards the Aldermere Promise, enough to fund ninety full scholarships.
