The college's first new residential court in fifty years opens this term, with 180 rooms around a garden quadrangle.
Harwell Court was designed to feel as though it had always been there: brick and stone to match its neighbours, a cloister walk, and a dining hall with a hammerbeam roof. Behind the walls it is one of the most energy-efficient buildings in the county, heated by ground-source heat pumps beneath the garden.
Every room has its own washroom and a window onto the quadrangle. Rents are the same as in the older courts.
